Robert Lendvay, born in Budapest in May 1934, is a Hungarian impressionist and cosmopolitan artist renowned for his abstract works. Throughout his prolific career, he has created over a thousand pieces, many of which are part of collections across Europe. 

Lendvay has worked and exhibited in various countries, including Italy, Spain, France, and the United States. 

 His artistic journey began with frequent visits to museums in Rome, where he was deeply influenced by the masterpieces he encountered. 

In 2006, Lendvay embarked on a voyage through the North-West Passage via the Davis Strait aboard the M/S Explorer. The pristine landscapes of fjords, icebergs, and glaciers inspired him to create "The Arctic Collection." This series features three-dimensional oil paintings that capture the rugged beauty of the Arctic environment.
