The undersigned has had the opportunity to see some works in oil by the artist Bernt Johnson, Stockholm
In addition to figures (nude), he paints from his years of study in Southern Europe, landscapes and especially urban motifs from Spain and Italy.
Very appealing are his pictures of Rome with its ancient ruins. In both perspective and choice of motifs and, above all, the clean, well-tuned coloring, it seems to me that his works of this kind deserve a high rating.
