Ivar Johansson (1889–1963) was a Swedish painter known for his landscapes and depictions of rural life in Sweden. He was born on July 18, 1889, in Norra Vånga, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. Johansson grew up in a country setting, which later became a major influence on his artistic work. His landscapes often capture the serene beauty of the Swedish countryside, focusing on farms, forests, and fields with an emphasis on natural light and atmospheric moods.
