About the Artist:

Born in Dresden in 1905, Gerhard Lundberg studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm (1929–35) under von Hennigs, Albert Engström, and Isaac Grünewald, followed by advanced studies in Paris (1936–38) with Gromaire and at Académie Colarossi.
