Charles (Karl Gothard) Schölander, was born in Linneryd, Småland. He studied while traveling in the United States, Mexico and India. He worked in strong colour and impressionistic interpretation with palette knife, oriental architectural motifs.

Both painting and frame in very good vintage condition.
